The ETA (Electronic Travel Authorization for the UK) 8th Jan 25

An ETA, short for Electronic Travel Authorization, is a requirement from the 8th of Jan 2025 for people who don’t need a visa to enter the UK. It will be electronically linked to passengers’ passports and gives them permission to travel to the UK. Each traveller will need their own ETA, including children and babies. It will cost £10.00 GBP per applicant.

Golfers & Passengers will need to apply for an ETA:

  • To stay in the UK for up to 6 months to travel, visit family and friends, for business or study.
  • For up to 3 months in the UK on the Creative worker visa concession.
  • Or transiting through the UK, even if they are not going through UK border control. Which means short

ETIAS Visa for the EU, Ireland, Spain, France, Portugal, Italy & etc:

As of mid-2025, ETIAS travel authorization will be an entry requirement for visa-exempt nationals travelling to the Schengen states and Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, and Romania. ETIAS is linked to a traveller’s passport and is valid for up to 3 years or until the passport expires.

With a valid ETIAS authorization, you can enter the territory of these European countries as often as you want for short-term stays, generally for up to 90 days in any 180 days. You can apply either through the official ETIAS website or the ETIAS app. A fee will be charged for the application. Please note that some exemptions will apply.

Who Needs ETIAS?

If you’re from a country outside the European Union (EU) and don’t need a visa to visit Europe, BUT!!! You’ll likely need ETIAS. For example, U.S. citizens, Canadians, Australians, and visitors from around 60 other countries will require this authorization.
