What does that mean to the golfers booking for 2019?

Lahinch Golf Club.

There will be limited play at Lahinch Golf Club next year. A final club decision has not been made on the following. However, the chat is, that the course will be closed from the 17th of June to the 8th of July, 2019. Notably, golfers may be required to use mats for rounds played from the May Bank Holiday weekend up to the 17th of June. Shortly after the Irish Open, the South of Ireland Championship will be played. Finally, the first three weeks of August will be reserved for Member only for their golf events and competitions.

Royal Portrush Golf Club.

Royal Portrush will be closed for visitor play from the 1st of November 2018 to 31st of March 2019. Also, the course will be closed from June the 1st, 2019 to the 24th July 2019. Notably, visitors will be able to play in April and May 2019, however, all players will be required to hit their shots off mats. Also, all the tickets are booked out for the British Open Championship!

Royal County Down.

Royal County Down remains the busiest course for bookings for 2019 and book now to save your date. Similarly, Modus Opeandus to previous years, Monday, Tuesday and Friday golfers can play on morning and afternoon tee times. Also only on Thursday mornings and Sunday afternoons. However, there is no outside play on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Please note; Royal County Down do not have a facility to store golf clubs and please ship clubs to another address. I would suggest contacting your golf tour operator, bus company or the 1st-night hotel and use their address. Always be safe and use Ship Sticks, click on this “Link” to be redirected to a ship sticks portal.
