Old Head Golf Links is Ireland’s most spectacular golf course to play. Moreover, the Atlantic ocean both left and right of both nines.

The services and food standards are very nice and enjoyable. Clearly, the clubs take a lot of pride in their course presentation. Notably, the tee boxes, greens, and fairways are kept tightly manicured. Whereas, the club should be applauded on how they keep the course’s standards of presentation.

The Old Head Links opens years from April to the end of October. Also, the course was mainly designed by Ron Kirby and Eddie Hackett. However, the course is not idle as each year the club adjust holes and build new course features.

Furthermore, a tip for golfers, the greens slope a lot more than you think from back to front. Yes, beware of the speed of the greens! As sometimes the green speed is really quick. All that said, Old Head is a great golf course to play and play often!

Notably, there are fifteen rooms available for overnight stays. Also, not to forget a gym and spa. Finally, the good news is that the phone reception is poor and you can go off-grid.
